I JUST WANNA WRITE
A Creative Writing Playground
I don’t know! Or rather, I have an overall view of it but not yet organized in detail. I know what contents I want to deal with (and there are a lot of them!). I know that others will be added to those. But above all I know that I want to be guided by the Inner Voice that whispers to me from within on how to proceed on organizing, developing and publishing them. And therefore the journey of this blog will be an experiment, a work in progress guided by inspiration and intuition. It will take some time before it takes a very clear and defined shape. But we are not under any pressure here, right?
it’s about the awakening of Creativity; the writing for the sheer pleasure of writing; the opening up of our inner and unknown creative resources. We will learn to write freely and explore our imaginative landscapes with no judgements; we will meet all the emotional, mental and spiritual material we bring inside. We will flow with words as a canoa in a rapid river. We will calmly pace our thoughts letting them disappear onto the paper. We will meet our most secret aspirations and grow in confidence with the creative world within.
It’s all an experiment. At the beginning the posts and exercises publication won’t happen in a fixed schedule, since I myself have to realize how to organize all, and I want to do it following the flow of the Inner Guidance rather than to be subject to mental decisions. Therefore, in order to follow this blog I suggest you to subscribe it so that you’ll receive emails that will alert you when new material is uploaded. These first posts you see published here so far are deliberately short, to give you the opportunity to have a first orientation that is not verbose. Those that will come out next week will be more complete and in-depth.
At the beginning, therefore, do not worry if the content you will see published will be sparse. It will intensify over time and steadily. In the way of a blog. As I have already written above, in publishing the posts I will not follow a logical but intuitive line. So get ready in the coming times to explore very different, if not quite at times apparently irreconcilable, content.
Multiple. With this experience I will continue to disseminate writing exercises aimed at all those who simply want to implement their creativity. But there will also be exercises and content suitable for those who practice writing as a tool for self-knowledge. And by this I mean knowing oneself in one’s different personalities, limits and potentials, in relation to the functioning of one’s mind, etc. We will also deepen the contents of the texts of Sri Aurobindo, of the Mother but also of other spiritual teachers, such as Eckart Tolle or Lao Tzu for example , drawing directly on their writings or what they said and letting your own writing deepen them. I’ll show you how in the next few weeks. We will therefore explore archetypes, we will go deep into some of our inner rooms, we will learn to release emotional material simply by writing.. in short, many many things.
The first reason is to give the possibility, to all those of you who want it, to attend the class even when, for reasons of personal schedule, you found it difficult to do so. The second is that in the months of the lockdown I have developed a quantity of material that cannot be divulged only through a weekly class. In addition, having to deal with the publications of this blog will give me the opportunity to meditate, develop, expand, deepen and reorganize all the material I already have available to make something else in the future, perhaps a book. For this reason I inform you I have decided to copyright all the contents of the blog. Unfortunately, it has already happened to me (in Auroville as well!) that ideas and contents have been taken from me without asking my permission and have been reused to promote other people’s activities. And I couldn’t use them anymore. Therefore I have decided that this time it is better to prevent any unpleasant occurrence.
I don’t rule out going back one day to do live classes. It is true that writing alone offers the undoubted advantage of being able to organize your time as you please and according to your possibilities and availability. On the other hand, however, following a class with a predefined schedule has the advantage of not leaving the appointment with writing to chance and lack of discipline. In addition, I have experienced every time that when writing in a group, the energy that flows among the participants enhances focus and creativity in a way that often does not happen when we write alone. The atmosphere of silence and collective concentration is charged, and this is always perceived by all participants. So we’ll see. It may be that through this blog we can form a small community of writers who decide, from time to time, a monthly or biweekly appointment in which to write together. However, if you have any needs or suggestions or simply have questions, do not hesitate to write them in the comments. I will be delighted to interact with you.
it has something to do with it because in my personal experience writing, if done with the right attitude, can put us in contact with our deepest self, where true education comes from. That inner education that, through writing, which is an activity that provides a written form to the formless, can make us aware of something Higher. That Quid that moves from within into the exterior of our lives by transforming and , therefore, evolving them.
